HOW KENO STARTS A PAINTING...WITH A BLANK CANVAS.  THIS IS GOING TO BE A TRIPTYCH.
FIRST THE FILL IN OF THE WATER
FILLING IN THE WATER WITH MANY SHADES OF BLUE AND GREEN
WITH THE WATER FILLED IN, THEN THE FILL IN OF THE HONU, KEANU
NEXT THE SKY IS FILLED IN.  SOME ADJUSTMENTS ARE NEEDED IN ORDER TO KEEP THE ASPECTS OF DESIGN PLEASANT.

Keno is writing a book on his friend Keanu.  Here is Keanu dropping in on a pitching shorebreak.

Making friends is what I love about Hawaii.  Anyone you meet can become a friend for life.  I end up being a tour guide lots of the time for friends of friends.

I snowboard the Lake Tahoe area.  It's my home spot when I like to ride.
This is the backside of Alpine Meadows. Killer view of Lake Tahoe.

I'm going to be doing an event at Kaneohe Marine Corp. base for New Years Eve.

I had a Winter Art Show at my place in Kapolei.  I didn't get a chance to post it up because of my schedule.  Here's a picture of the newest collector Isabella, with her parents Emily and Michael.  Bella gets the moonlight original I'm holding.

Laupahoehoe on the Big Island.  A tsunami devastated this area in 1961 I believe.  Many children were killed as well as adults because a school was set along this area.
More of Big Island Laupahoehoe

I was on the Big Island.  Here were some pics.

My brother Wally demonstrating his technique at a school
This is the painting I was working on at the Habilitat Luau which ended up being auctioned off live.

I liked the color of the frame as well as the 3-D effect that was done.
The winner of my "Turtle Bay" tag contest.  It has an animation that for some reason I can't get to work.  Go to the website to see it in action.

I like the border design as well as the use of the fish on the border design.
There's an animation that isn't working on this that must be seen.

This is a picture of the set up at Duracos.  The white square thing in the middle right is my canvas glaring off the lights.  The band is in the shadow to my left.My Vegas display at the Art Expo in 2007

That's the page "Everyone's a Clown" was on at the bottom right.

I went to Cali July 26-30 for my friends Mike and Grace's wedding.  It was a last second trip but well worth it.  Love still exists.  I witnessed it.

Me and Sister Candida at Molokai.  This is the perspective that I'm going to do Mother Marianne Cope at.  Check it out in my commissions page.

This was the painting I did at the Habilitat fundraiser.  It's called "Baby Steps".  It was auctioned off during the live auction.  I also donated another original as well as my dads for the silent auction.

I'll be at the annual Habilitat fundraiser in Kaneohe at Windward Community College on May 17th doing a painting demonstration.

I will be on the Big Island from April 9-15th. I will be painting at Paniolo Greens in Waikoloa as well as Third Dimension Gallery in the Shops at Mauna Lani on the Kohala Coast from Wed.-Sun from 6-9pm.

I was included in a pictorial of the north shore in the publication Oahu 2007 Now and Then.

I went to Emily Lopez and Michael Goyne's wedding on Nov. 17th.  Emily is the owner of In Magazine which did a 2 page profile on me.
